There is a report of a hate attack on 3 Sikhs in Canada, whose turbans were taken away by the attacker and after being assaulted, they also tried to run under the vehicle. The first case came to light in Toronto’s Scarbrough area where Rupinder Singh was targeted while he was returning home from Gurdwara Sahib. The second case came to light at Peterbrough where a Sikh youth was hit on the head with a soda can after pulling off his turban. The third case came to light in Sudbury where an attempt was made to crush a Sikh under a pickup truck
