The Shiromani Akali Dal has strongly condemned the party for not saluting Amritpal Singh, the first martyr of the Agniveer scheme, who died in Jammu and Kashmir at the age of 19, and for not providing an army ambulance to bring his dead body to Punjab, while the party demanded Ordered that the Agniveer scheme should be canceled immediately and all soldiers recruited under the scheme should be regularised.
