Guru Patshah reached Saifabad (Bahadargarh) while giving darshan to the devotees from Anandpur Sahib. Accepting the request of Nawab Saif Khan, Guru Sahib stayed at this place for three months and some time. Guruji used to give darshan to the devotees at this place. The Gurdwara Sahib is adorned on this land touched by the feet of Guru Ji. The ninth heir to the throne of Guru Nanak Sahib, Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib, went on journeys to various places for the propagation and expansion of the Sikh Panth. During this, Guru ji bestowed many kinds of blessings upon the request of the Sangat.
