The Ministry of External Affairs of India has issued a statement on stopping the issuance of visas to citizens of Canada. The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that our ambassadors and employees in Canada were receiving threats, that’s why we were not able to issue visas, we had many applications pending, that’s why we stopped the work of issuing visas. The Ministry of External Affairs said that we will review it regularly, currently the Government of India has banned the issuance of visas to citizens of Canada and this ban will remain on all types of visas, be it tourism or business visas.
