A family dispute has started over the last rites of a young farmer Shubkaran Singh, who was killed in a clash on the Khanuri border on February 21 during the farmers’ movement. On Friday, Shubkaran’s mother suddenly arrived at Rajindra Hospital and demanded to see her son’s face and to be cremated. On the other hand, Shubkaran’s sister has raised questions on her mother. Mother Veerpal Kaur alias Sukhwinder Kaur who reached Rajindra Hospital Patiala said that no one even asked me, they killed me while I was still alive.
