The Department of Immigration and Citizenship announced major changes to the International Student Program on January 22, including reducing the number of study visas. Along with this, it was also announced to end the facility of Spousal Open Work Permit for most of the students, which has now come into effect.
Future Spousal Open Work Permit applicants will have to submit proof of entry of their spouse and proof of relationship.
