In Britain, 5 youths of Indian origin have been sentenced to a total of 122 years in prison after being found guilty of murdering a 23-year-old Punjabi driver. In August last year, delivery driver Armaan Singh was brutally attacked and murdered with an axe, golf club, wooden sticks, hockey stick, shovel, cricket bat and knife. West Mercia Police later arrested four people.
The court sentenced Arshdeep Singh (24), Jagdeep Singh (22), Shivdeep Singh (26) and Manjot Singh (24) to a minimum of 28 years each and Sukhmandeep Singh (who had sent information about Armaan Singh to four people) to 10 years. Sentenced to one year imprisonment.
