The farmers of Jalandhar, the main potato producing district of Punjab, have suffered for the third time in a row. The farmers are very sad that this time too they did not get the right price of potatoes. Farmers had kept their previous crop in cold stores in the hope of getting a good price for potatoes, but now the situation has become such that the old crop is not getting buyers even for the new crop.
